Miyin Delgado Karl

Miyin Delgado Karl (she/her) is a queer Colombian writer and poet currently based in Southern California. She was born and raised in Bogotá within an Asian-Latino family that nourished her with stories. As a result, her work usually centers around themes of immigration, queerness, religion, and Latin American folklore. She has a bachelor's in English from University College London and a master's in Screenwriting from University of the Arts London, which basically means she likes books and films and London a lot. Her writing has been published by Wildscape Literary Journal, LatineLit, HeyYoungWriter, various print anthologies, and elsewhere. She is also the co-host of the podcast "The Gifted Child Symposium”, a slow reader of books, and a budding tree enthusiast. You can find her on Instagram as @miyinsdk
