Dhruv Barot

A dramatic writer, a poet, a linguist, Dhruv Barot is ever a lover of language and words. From the San Francisco Bay Area, Dhruv has made the coastal leap to New York City—safe to say, he doesn't miss driving. A member of the NYU Tisch Dramatic Writing community, he seeks to support fellow developing artists whether that be his background in technical theatre, or his work in event & panel coordination. An undergraduate student of the Lillian Vernon House, Dhruv now reads poetry live out and about the city. Lately, he has been writing poetry, pilots, plays, and a 22-page, 12,000- word document on the game series Pikmin. His poetry has been performed as a part of Poetry Electric: Asian Voices For Peace & Unity at La MaMa in New York.
