Kaz Li

My Story

Kaz Li (they/them) is a first year MFA student for fiction at Emerson College. They graduated from New York University with a degree in Game Design at the NYU Game Center. At Emerson, they are involved in several on-campus literary magazines and journals, including Redivider, Page Turner Magazine, and Stork Magazine. They are a founding member of the indie studio Snacktime Games, where they've developed and released a full-length narrative RPG on Steam, which has been recognized by developers at Rockstar Games. Currently, they write both realistic and speculative fiction. Kaz is passionate about telling stories about underrepresented communities, especially from the Asian American perspective.
