Hanna Kang

Hanna Kang (she/her) is a Korean first-year MFA student in Creative Writing at Emerson College, in the fiction track. She graduated from Cornell University with a double major in English and Information Science. Within Information Science, she had a focus on User Experience (UX) and web design, something she still enjoys in the form of occasional freelance project work. Currently, she is involved with the literary journal Redivider as a fiction reader, copyeditor, and as Digital Director. She is also a writer for the Emerson College Green Magazine. Her writing tends to be in the realm of speculative fiction, with more recent inspirations being the ocean and outer space. Besides writing, her other interests and hobbies include reading, music, video games, marine biology, and astronomy.
